Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support and detail drafting services for design of attractions’ controls components and assemblies. Make supporting analysis, support research and field testing efforts. Communicate with all levels of management and customers and work well with all disciplines to build, test, install and commission.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* High school graduate and two (2) years college; mechanical/electrical engineering courses or equivalent
* Minimum 5 - 7 years experience designing
* Minimum 2 years experience working with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version); minimum of two (2) years experience
* Demonstrated proficiency in developing correct form, fit and function of designs
* Demonstrated proficiency in Automation Control Systems and Machine Controls design; including Power Distribution, PLC, Panel Layouts, Wiring, Schematic and Single Line Diagrams
* Demonstrated proficiency in design and detail of components and assemblies and make supporting analysis
* Demonstrated proficiency in materials selection and application
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BSEE or BSME degree or equivalent
* Minimum 8-10 years designing experience
* Proven knowledge of NEC, UL-508A, ANSI Y14.15 and NFPA-79
* Proven knowledge of ASME Y14
* Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (latest version); minimum of two (2) years experience
* Proven proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
