LTV-Representative Field – Orlando

Position Summary:

The LiveTV Field Service Quality Representative ensures that the highest quality standards are enforced at all locations where LiveTV Systems are installed or maintained by means of an aggressive inspection plan. The Quality Representative will assure that Á“critical to qualityÁ” items are assembled, installed, and maintained in accordance with LiveTV quality requirements, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations onsite where work is performed.

Essential Functions:

Performs independent assessments of product installations at all sites including line stations, approved maintenance vendors, alteration stations, customer maintenance locations, and third party maintenance suppliers. Reviews and assures that all work performed is accomplished in accordance with the specifications of work orders, engineering orders, air carrier procedures manuals, manufacturersÁ’ technical manuals, service bulletins, company policy and procedures, and current requirements of regulatory agencies. Verifies that approved data, competent trained personnel, and proper tooling are used to accomplish work within the stationsÁ’ ratings. (50%)
Assists with reviewing customer audits for adequacy, coverage of activities, and effective corrective actions. Ensures that auditing programs are in compliance with all inspection standards, methods, and procedures utilized by LiveTV, including the repair station quality manual (RSQM). Acts as liaison between LiveTV and the inspection and audit departments of maintenance providers. (20%)
Acts as liaison between LiveTV and air carrier customers on the maintenance and/or alteration of their equipment. Develops post-installation defect metrics in conjunction with MRO and airline customer criteria. (10%)
Establishes the factual basis for event quality escape decision making. Provides early identification and mitigation of potential retrofit activity, and immediately corrects material/article deficiencies. (10%)
Accomplish additional functions as directed by the LiveTV Chief Inspector. (10%)
