LTV-Technician Avionics-5 – Orlando

The Technician is employed to perform the duties as assigned by the Employer including, without limitation, all LiveTV Inflight Entertainment systems installations and/or Maintenance functions for which the repair stations is rated and the Technician is trained and qualified to perform.
Á•Performs avionics systems installation to include wire harness fabrication and termination, harness installation and security, aircraft system interface, system checkouts, troubleshooting and LRU replacement for which the repair station is rated (40%)

Á•The Technician must be strong in the aviation electronics/avionics field with the ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, wire lists and diagrams, aircraft maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals, illustrated Parts Catalogues and system flow charts (20%)

Á•The Technician must have the ability to terminate electrical connections and wiring, shielded and unshielded as well as coaxial wiring utilizing the proper crimp and soldering methods as outlined within the applicable Electrical Standards Practices Manual, manufacturerÁ’s recommendations or FAA Approved Data. The Technician must have knowledge of proper torque techniques and calibration (15%)

Á•Ensures the accurate and timely completion of all repair station Work Orders, customer Engineering Orders and all applicable repair station required documentation for the tasks in which the Technician accomplished (5%)

Á•The Technician shall document all tasks, repairs and installations performed on a daily basis utilizing established Employer procedures. The Technician shall maintain the highest level of professionalism (5%)

Á•The Technician must be able to utilize test measuring equipments such as multimeters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and maintenance consoles (laptop computers) (5%)

Á•Hangar Clean-Up (5%)

Á•Equipment Preventive Maintenance (5%)
