Food and Beverage Front of the House Operations NY February 27 2008

We're going to be in New York City on February 27th looking for great leadership to join our Food & Beverage Operations Team for the “Front of the House”. This position is located at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Central Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Our Food and Beverage Operations Team range from fine dinning to quick service Restaurant, where we provide an exceptional dinning experience for our Guest. Our Food and Beverage Guest Service Managers are responsible for providing leadership, development, support and motivation to the Employees (Cast Members), creating a positive environment that encourages ownership and accountability. Monitor and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation, continue work to ensure Exceptional Guest Service and manage financial results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* High school degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years leadership experience
* Minimum 5 years Food and Beverage experience
* Ability to be courteous and respectful to all Guests, including children
* Strong commitment to Employees(Cast Members), including the ability to coach and develop them
* Knowledge of financial aspects of an operation
* Passion for food and beverage
* Ability to project a positive image and energy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with sense of urgency
* Strong partnering skills
* Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including variable shifts and days in a rapid changing environment


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
* Budget development experience
* Knowledge of wines and spirits
* Experience working in a union environment
* Demonstrated bilingual skills
