Food & Beverage Operations NY
We're going to be in New York City on February 27th looking for people to join our Food & Beverage Operations Team for the “Heart of the House””. These positions are located at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Central Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation while continually working to exceed Guest expectations. Provide leadership to ensure consistent, high quality Guest service standards within the operation through coaching and accountability measures while promoting innovation and creativity in an environment that welcomes and embraces change. Ensure that safety and sanitation levels are upheld in accordance with all regulations. Awareness of the responsibilities of the position as well as the importance of such skills as good leadership, human relations, motivation and communication. Develop and nurture partnerships with the front of the house team as well as strategic partners to provide a seamless Guest Experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years culinary experience
* Minimum 2 years experience as Sous Chef
* Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with direct reports and resource partners
* Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
* Proven ability to coach, lead and inspire diverse Cast (Employees)
* Proven ability to use cooking skills in the creation of menus that meet the dietary needs and trends of Guests
* Demonstrated ability to identify and procure superior products in the development of quality menu items
* Proven ability to be a self starter and initiator
