Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires a dynamic, inspirational leader, bringing innovative ideas and strong managerial, customer service and interpersonal skills. Lead a team of craft workers from one or more of the following disciplines: paint, mechanical assembly, animation, electrical, sign, weld/sheet metal, machining, fiberglass/model making and mill. Lead a team of hourly Cast Members as direct reports by coaching, mentoring, motivating, empowering, removing obstacles and holding Cast accountable to overall job performance, and company policies and procedures. Make productive and positive contributions to safety, service and performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job.)
* BA/BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
* Proven experience in manufacturing with emphasis on process improvement, process flow and production strategies
* Demonstrated experience in holding team members accountable
* Demonstrated computer proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Demonstrated strong partnering, coaching and mentoring skills
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
* Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated ability as a team leader
* Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* MBA or advanced degree or equivalent
* Prior experience in a union environment a plus
* Proven prior experience with MS Access, Business Objects, SAP or Maximo
* Proven bilingual skills
